Are battery chargers universal?
Battery charges are not universal. The Folding Bikes, Fat Bikes, Mountain Bike, and City Bike all come with the same battery charger (Samsung or LG), and the Super Bikes come with their own charger. If you lose or damage your battery charger, we recommend coming to us for a replacement, as we cannot guarantee the results you get by purchasing elsewhere. Email cadrayty@gmail.com
Can I clean / wash my DJ bike?
We recommend a garden hose over a pressure washer, as the electrical components on the e-bikes can be easily damaged by water. Turn the power off, and start hosing the bike down from the top to the bottom with water only, or a mild detergent. Muc-Off is a popular cleaner, available on Amazon, sporting goods stores, or bike shops. So as not to scratch the frame, use a soft brush or cloth to rub caked on mud or dirt. Keep in mind that the frame is aluminum and does not rust, but there are other metal parts that may be subject to rust.
Are e-bikes dangerous?
E-bikes driven in a responsible manner are generally safe. It is up to you to know your limitations as they relate to utilizing an electric vehicle such as an e-bike. Please also familiarize yourself with DJ Bikes' liability clause.
Are e-bikes legal where I live?
Electric bicycles are regulated by law, and regulations vary depending upon your jurisdiction. It is your responsibility to stay informed of and comply with local laws. Contact local authorities, e-bike shops, or bicycle associations for further information.
Can two people ride on a DJ e-bike?
The DJ model that is most conducive to supporting two people is the Super Bike, with its long banana seat. Having said that, for safety reasons, we cannot recommend more than one person on a bike. Keep in mind as well the weight maximum of 275 lbs, and you can see how two people may strain the motor and other parts.
Are the bikes ready to ride out of the box?
Most models arrive 85–95% assembled. You’ll only need to attach simple components like handlebars or pedals. If you prefer, our in-house mechanics can complete the setup for you.
Do you offer test rides?
Yes! You can book a test ride at our showroom to see how the bikes handle and which foldable model fits your needs best.
Are the DJ Bikes disc brakes aluminum or steel?
The brakes are made of stainless steel, for strength.
What is the battery range on your folding e-bikes?
Ranges vary by model, but most DJ and META foldable bikes offer 35–60+ km per charge depending on riding style, terrain, and assist level.
Can I replace or upgrade the battery?
Yes. We carry replacement and upgraded batteries for both DJ and META models. Our team can help you select the right one
Can you order parts if you don’t have them in stock?

Are foldable e-bikes good for commuting?
Definitely. Their compact size, easy folding, and powerful motors make them ideal for city commuting, RV travel, and small storage spaces.

Absolutely! We have professional in-house mechanics who can handle everything from tune-ups and brake adjustments to tire replacements and electrical diagnostics.
